Yvonne Perez Kettering
Licensed Acupuncturist, Herbalist, doTerra Wellness Advocate, Breast Cancer Warrior Yvonne was diagnosed September 5th, 2013 with Stage III breast cancer. She comes from a family of breast cancer survivors, including her mother and sister, and faced the challenge head on. She combined the best that Western Medicine has to offer with Traditional Chinese Medicine including acupuncture, herbs, meditation, and nutrition. You can read about Yvonne’s journey on the Living Through Cancer page. She is now doing well and is continuing to work with the same care and compassion for her patients. It was that experience that prompted Yvonne to change the way she was doing business. “I realized that the frequency of acupuncture treatments that I really needed was too expensive and that didn’t seem right to me. So I decided to change things up and modeled my new practice after the community acupuncture clinics that are really impacting communities around the world by offering a more affordable option.” Yvonne earned her undergraduate degree from The University of Texas in Austin, and a Master of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from The Academy of Oriental Medicine at Austin in 2005 and completed training as an Applied clinical Nutritionist in 2013. She continues to spend countless hours training and learning as it is her passion. Yvonne lives in Round Rock and enjoys spending time with her husband and extended family. Her state of Texas license # is AC00847.
